Who Created the Artwork

About the Artist

Hello there!

I'm Emily. The artist for Moshicat. I loooooove cats, and also love to draw cute kitties. Moshicat was a little hobby that I started during the Covid-19 Pandemic to spread some “pawsitivity”. I posted my artwork mainly at Instagram (and TikTok as well). I'm most grateful that my art style has garnered the support of over 200k followers thus far on Instagram. I finally decided to turn my art to merchandise, so people can actually bring these cute meow meow home. I hope these little things can bring a smile to your day!

I am very thankful for all the encouragement and support received along the way. Now Moshicat little shop has just started.  Your every little purchase would give me confidence and supports me to continue creating art that I love. Don't worry if you don't buy anything. Just have some fun here and enjoy!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Lots of love ❤

About THE Cat

My kitty Moshi was adopted from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in January 2021. He was open for adoption 1 day before we visited SPCA. So it was FATE that we were going to be family. And yes! - my social media account and my shop Moshicat was named after him actually haha! ❤

A lot of inspiration for my artwork came from Moshi. He is lazy (spending 90% of the time sleeping), likes to belly-up for petting, has a blackhole stomach (hungry 24/7), and most importantly - super duper adorable! It always puts a smile on my face when I see him. My life is much sweeter with him around. Thank you so much for your company ❤

Past Project Overview

Collaboration with National Heritage Board (NHB)

I worked with Singapore National Heritage Board (NHB) on Museum Roundtable Hongbao Campaign 2022 (year of tiger) to design Lunar New Year Red Packets for 35 public & private museums, galleries, and heritage institutions as well as NHB. Each design is unique, to best capture the distinguishing feature of each participating body.  I'm so happy that the designs received a lot of positive feedback from the general public and collectors.
